Another Knyte on the Mountain Desert

Ever get to wondering who decides or comes up with the names for things? Like fonts on a computer. Who comes up with those names? What is the root of those names? Then there are those jobs, that you wonder first how they got the job, second, how long could someone do that job, without having it to where the next time they saw the product on the street, that they’d go bonkers. Such a job, might be, like the guy, who sits at a drafting design table. Computer or pencil, to design bras for women. Here all day he sits, drawing circles around all kinds of shapes and contours of boobs. Does that guy go out that day at lunch and see a big pair of tits, and then scream in udder amazement?

Okay a short run of fun here, or badgering the public here. Our ads are up on Craig's List for in studio talent. There has not been a stampede here yet, but there have been calls from as far away as Oregon State to Salt Lake City. One from Jerome, one from Boise and one from Salt Lake City. Of those I’m leaning on the one from Jerome, and the one from Boise. Hell these women are willing to move here for this job. Yet nary a hoot nor holler from anyone right smack dab in the Mini Cassia area. Trust me at this point, If I could sell this radio station license or swap it for one in a more lucrative market, I’d do it in a Hazzard County second. In the radio bizz, I used to cuss such station owners as Kim Lee, for not hiring more pleasing or exciting on air personalities. With only Zeb Bell and Steve Mitton on KBAR, which will be history once we sign the papers for KBAR this week. As KBAR will be KDXB AM and thus unless Zeb and a few gives me a call for being on the clubs station, their history. What will it be like for Mini Cassia without Zeb and Steve? More over what will Zeb and Steve do? Told em to be nice to me. Goes back to a saying my Daddy Wolf told me as a Wolf-Pup, Don’t bite the hand that is or will feed you.

But getting back , Kim has Gina Jameson who is okay and a ton of others, some good, some not so much. Kelly over at KEZJ, in Twin Falls, has few if any real personalities. While we are here on that. Just as there is a big difference between a toew jockey and a toewing professional, there is a huge difference, between a disc jockey and a radio personality. The Radio personality, does not just push buttons and play music, he(or she) engages the listener. Personalizes it to where it becomes a focus of a certain person or community, and that personality. Where as, like I said, a disc jockey, spins cd’s or plays music, does a weather blurb and occasional news report. We here at all areas of HazzardAyre Radio including Highway Hooker Radio, The only show on radio for those who toew, are looking for Radio Personalities, not just disc jockies. Will we find them here? Who knows. But there might be a path of travel here.

What about a school? Ran through say CSI, or independently, but something to be called Broadcast Essentials. Where people of all ages that want to be media talent, come in, rake out money to us for once, we train em for 60 days, then give em a job, where they can make up that tuition fee back in wages. If they bug out, so what we got the tuition, at least the time I then spend away from going toewing is covered.
